The Case Of The Missing Narrative
Paul and Cindy entered the old abandoned mansion with apprehension. If nothing else, the icy draft that gripped them upon unlocking the door was enough to keep them on their toes.
“It’s dark in here, I don’t like it!” Cindy whispered to Paul.
“We’ve come this far. If we don’t continue, then what did Rudy die for?” responded Paul, almost unsure himself of the answer to his question.
As they ventured slowly down the lengthy ornamented hall, Cindy wondered if their quest was one destined to fail from the beginning.
Suddenly, they heard the sound of feet dragging across the carpeted floor behind them. They quickly turned, but only in time to hear the cacophonous bang of the seamlessly blended blind door behind them.
They approached the wall, seeking any clues of a way to gain entry. Cindy pointed to a thin chip in the paint. “There”, she said, moving her finger upwards and outlining the nearly invisible split in the wall.
She closed her eyes, reached for Paul’s hand, and gave a strong push. As the door creaked open, Paul squeezed tightly.
On the other side, The Narrative burst out in a fit of giggles, exclaiming excitedly that they had finally been found! Jesse skipped to the kitchen to fix himself a sandwich, while Suzie wiped the tears of laughter from her eyes and picked herself up off the floor. This had been the most exciting game of hide and seek they had ever played.
Paul and Cindy sighed in relief, knowing that only Rudy paid the true price for this adventure.

Yes, yes, we still exist. We’ve been hard at work continuing our progress on the new album. By hard at work I really mean things have slowed down some while we tend to other areas of life, but we’ve been formulating a proper schedule for completion.
We are hoping to have the recording process completely done some time in the Fall. After that, we will be exploring our options for labels, PR, management, and those sorts of things. You know, all the fun stuff!
We expect for the album to be released some time in the beginning of next year, but refuse to make any promises based on the 2012 “Don’t want to disappoint you” clause, Article V Section II.
I’ve been listening to The Shins and Sigur Ros, and yesterday re-visited an old favorite, Dave Matthews’ #41 (acoustic version!).

So, once upon a time someone had “Don’t Want to Fall” up on their YouTube channel and it had close to 80,000 views! Then we put up our whole discography and they took theirs down (maybe out of respect for us?) Anyway! If that was you, and you’re out there and by some chance didn’t delete that video, then go ahead and make it public again! In any case, if you guys could help share this song (or any of our music) on your tumblrs, twitters, facebooks, spotify playlists, we’d more than appreciate it. Love, The Narrative!
